Obituary

Dalyse was born on January 27, 1948, in Arizona to the late Marjorie Walton. She passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Durant. Dalyse and Edward "Ed" Kilhoffer were married in Mexico on December 1, 1962. From this marriage were born 5 children: Dale, Brenda, Vickie, Jill and Bobbie, 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Ed and Dalyse own and operate a concrete business and have lived in several states, however they always considered Oklahoma home. They have resided in Kingston for 30 years and have loved living on the lake. Prior to retirement Dalyse drove a school bus for several years followed by working for General Motors. However, her main joy was spending time with her family.

Dalyse was a devoted mother, grandma and great grandma. She prided herself in raising her kids and spoiling grandkids and great grand kids. Many of her grandchildren caught their first fish on the dock with her and grandpa cheering them on. "Grandma" or "Grandma Dalyse" had a nickname for each of the grandchildren and had a special way of saying I love you at the end of the day or a phone conversation.

Before the decline of her health, you could find Ed and Dalyse on the lake fishing and then in the kitchen cooking all that they caught.  After her health began to decline Ed bought her a motorized scooter, this scooter gave her freedom back. She loved riding around the casino and not needing anyone's help.
