Dale Lynn
Faulkenberry
March 16, 1971 – June 8, 2024
Dale began this life on March 16, 1971, in Ardmore, OK, the son of Lindon Dale and Mary Ann (Powell) Faulkenberry. He attended schools in Marietta and graduated with the Class of 1990. Dale worked for more than 20 years with Michelin before taking a job with Love County District #2.
Dale was an avid coon hunter. He took great pride in training his dogs. Dale was a member of the Professional Kennel Club, the United Kennel Club, and the United Houndsmen Association. He was also a member of the Southern Oklahoma Squirrel Club.
Dale was passionate about rodeo. He started at the early age of 6 and continued the ride into his college years where he was a part of the rodeo team at Murray State. Dale was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the International Pro Rodeo Association. He loved horses and cattle and passed his passion for rodeo on to his children. Over the years, Dale spent countless hours following them to their rodeo events.
Dale loved being outdoors. He took countless trips to the river to fish and duck hunt. Dale also spent a lot of time shooting guns, riding motorcycles, and rock crawling in Jeeps. He was also known to fry up a pretty good serving of fish. Dale did a lot of visiting and seemed to never meet a stranger. The one thing that Dale enjoyed above everything else was spending time with Cindy, his children, and his grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, E.C. and Trudy Faulkenberry and Bud and Mary Powell. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy Faulkenberry of the home in Marietta; mother, Ann Faulkenberry of Marietta; daughters, Cheyenne Hughes and husband Brandon of Sulphur, OK and Cierra Faulkenberry of Overbrook, OK; son, Canyon Faulkenberry of Marietta; grandchildren, Cayenne Hughes, Cartlynn Hughes, and Camlyn Hughes; and sister, Amy Faulkenberry of Ratliff City, OK.
