Daisy Mae Ellis, 97, long time resident of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024.  She was born on November 16, 1926, in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Clifford Burgess and Lula Mae Goodwin Burgess.  Daisy was raised in Madill where she graduated from high school.  She married Henry Farmer and he preceded her in death.  She later married Leroy Ellis and he also preceded her in death.  Daisy started working at the Madill Pants Factory on April 19, 1954, working as a supervisor until she retired.  In her younger years she enjoyed sewing, making quilts and helping at the nursing home sitting with families.  In her later years she enjoyed eating out at the Country Kitchen and visiting with everyone who came in.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sisters, Marie Rawson and Cortie Dunn.
