Obituary

Connie Marie Webb, 66, of Lone Elm, Oklahoma, was born on May 18, 1959, in Madill, Oklahoma, to the late Tommy Ed Buckaloo and Margie Marie Klein Buckaloo. She passed away peacefully at her home on April 10, 2026.

Connie was raised in Powell, Oklahoma, where she attended Kingston Public Schools from the first grade through graduation. A proud member of the Class of 1977, she graduated as Salutatorian. She continued her education at Murray State College and later earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

On June 22, 1979, Connie married the love of her life, Chris Alan Webb, in Kingston, Oklahoma. She began her career in education, teaching for eight years at Lone Grove Elementary. She later devoted herself to her family as a stay-at-home mom, embraced her role as an FFA advisor's wife, and often humorously referred to herself as a "chaos coordinator."

In December 2011, Connie began working at the Chickasaw Children's Village, where she faithfully served until her retirement on February 14, 2026. Her impact there, and throughout her life, was immeasurable. As a foster mother to more than 70 children, Connie demonstrated a servant's heart, always advocating for those in need and offering love, guidance, and stability to countless young lives.

A woman of strong faith, Connie was a devoted member of the Kingston Church of Christ for 26 years and was raised attending the Powell Church of Christ. She exemplified the virtues of a Proverbs 31 woman in her daily life.

Connie had a lifelong love of softball, both playing and cheering from the stands. She found great joy in watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports and activities. She also had a deep appreciation for nature, especially her flowers, as well as her beloved mini cows and goats.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Alan Webb; her daughter, Cali Marie Grimmett and husband Chris; her son, Cade Alan Webb and wife Mindy; special son, Quinton Jones and wife Jena; daughter, Tamara Tallbear; brother, Steve Buckaloo; sister, Penny Goodson and husband Aaron; nieces and nephew, Bubba Buckaloo and wife Josie, Lane Scogin, and Hunter Goodson; Lauren, Maycee, and Grayson Webb; Jacob and Jonah, Wiss and Kinley Harrison; her grandchildren, Hudson Tayte and Hayven Jo Webb, and Cenyan Christopher Grimmett; and her special grandchildren, Dallas, Annaleigh, and Rosie Jones; Brooks Young; Ariana, Talia, and Laicey Lonewolf; Gabriella, Desmond, and Dray Paukei; Quinton and Eliana Coburn; and Azael Ochoa, and a host of other extended relatives and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
