July 31, 1936 – May 23, 2025
Charlotte Crowder (Cooper) Pardue was born on July 31st 1936 to Grady and Maude Cooper in Lawrenceburg Tennessee. Charlotte departed this life for her eternal home on May 23rd 2025 after a heart issue weakened her body.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 58 years Roscoe Pardue and baby daughter Rene' (age 4 months) eldest daughter Chawn Turner (age 60), granddaughter Charise Turner (age 3 weeks) parents Grady and Maude Cooper, siblings Pat Eagle, Betty Bewick, and Grady Cooper Jr.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Hitt and son-in-law Kevin Hitt. Grandchildren Brandon Turner, Kingston, OK, Marshall and Jessica Hitt, Kennedale TX, Joe and Makenzie Villars Arlington Tx, and Madison and Sarah Hitt Willow Park, Texas. Great Grandchildren Grayson and Raegan Villars, Olivia, Matthew, and Haley Hitt, and Avery, Hudson, and Cade Hitt, and many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte had a long career as a dental hygienist. She and Roscoe and the family loved to boat / fish / swim and in general – enjoy the outdoors. They loved it so much that they built a lake house on Lake Texoma. Her other hobbies included (in no particular order) ceramics, art, crocheting, upholstery, water aerobics, and singing.
Services will be held on June,7th at 11 am at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ 6102 W Pleasant Ridge in Arlington 76016
We will also have a small service at Kingston Church of Christ 106 N Main, on June 21st at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate to Christian Relief Fund a charity of your choosing.
