Obituary

Charles Randell Hudson, 57, of Mannsville, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on February 12, 1967, in Madill, Oklahoma, he was the son of Charles Ray Hudson and Retha Lou Marris Hudson. Raised in Madill, Randell's early years were spent in close-knit communities where his Choctaw heritage was a source of pride and joy. He completed his schooling in Dickson, and, in 1991, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army. Randell's life was marked by his dedication to his country and his deep connection to his roots. On March 11, 2005, Randell married Ludavene Fields in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Their journey together took them through Texas and Tahlequah, Oklahoma, before settling in Madill in 2010, and then Mannsville, where they spent the last two years. Randell's life was enriched by his love for OU Football, fishing, camping, hunting, smoking meat and the occasional visit to the casinos, reflecting his zest for life and the joy he found in simple pleasures. Randell's faith and family were cornerstones of his life, and his pride and joy were his grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ludavene Hudson of Mannsville; his children, Matthew Rodriguez of Texas, Kris Mouse of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Kurtis Mouse of Tahlequah; and his cherished grandchildren, K'Lee Mouse, Braxton Fritts, Kenzee Mouse, Kyndle Mouse, and Cashon Mouse. He is also survived by his loving mother, Retha Hudson of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and his brother, Keith Hudson and wife Nita of Ardmore. He leaves behind dear uncles Curtis Tubby of Madill and Clayburn Hudson of Durant, brother-in-law; Johnny Fields and wife Cynthia of Tahlequah, OK, sister-in-law; Rita Bigmeat and husband Moses of Cherokee, NC and several nieces and nephews. Randell was preceded in death by his father, his son, Kevin Mouse and his grandparents. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Honorary Bearers: Kurtis Mouse, Kris Mouse, Terry Rawson, Scott Miller, Keith Hudson, Cason Hudson, Brendan Hudson, Cashon Mouse and Braxton Fritts
