Charles Wendell Counts, 65, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Alliance Health Hospital, Durant, Oklahoma.  He was born on February 1, 1959, in Mobil, Alabama to the late Charles L. Counts and Mary Frances Long Chadwick.  Wendell was raised in Del City, Oklahoma and worked at the OU Medical Center as a Computer Analyst for several years.  He has lived for the past 10 years at Soldier Creek on Lake Texoma where he took care of his stepdad and mother before their passing.  Wendell was affiliated with the New Hope Baptist Church, and he enjoyed fishing, and playing pool.
