Carolyn Sue "Red" McGehee, 58-year-old Ringling, OK resident, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2024 in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta, OK with Lawrence Anderson officiating. Services have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta.
Carolyn began this life March 8, 1966, in Indio, CA the daughter of Henry, Sr. and Stella (Howard) Cummins. Over the years, Carolyn developed a love for the outdoors. She loved camping and fishing. Carolyn will also be remembered as a great cook who loved to prepare meals for her friends and family members. She married Tony McGehee on November 7, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. Her marriage to Tony led her to a passion for motorcycles. Carolyn and Tony took rides all over the countryside as they ventured to numerous biker rallies and events. She was a caring and compassionate woman who never passed on a chance to lend a helping hand to a friend or family member in need. There were so many things that brought joy to Carolyn's life, but maybe nothing more than spending time with her grandbabies and her dog, Ollie.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lafayette Cummins, Sr.; husband, Tony Ray McGehee; and a niece, Kayla Dawn Cummins. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Stella Louise Cummins of Wilson, OK; sons, Nathan Kinchloe Peery of Ardmore, OK, Bryan Paul Nicholas Peery of Ardmore, and Thurman Scott Jordan Ramon of St. Jo, TX; grandchildren, Saige Elizabeth Peery, Aurora Dawn Peery, Kinchlie Ann Peery, Addison Marie Tom, Talon Paul Tom, Hailyn Grace Tom, Teegyn Lee Peery, and Brylee Grace Peery; brothers, Henry Cummins of Wilson and Michael Cummins of Wilson; sister, Marilyn Hawkins of Hughes Springs, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Honorary bearers are Layton Hawkins, Landon Hawkins, Levi Hawkins, Layn Hawkins, Jerimiah Cummins, and Jacob Cummins.
