Carol Ann Pierce

Carol Ann Pierce, 70, of Lebanon, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on July 24, 1956, in Eagle Lake, Texas, to Louis Frank Hanak and Gladys Marie Gundelach Santleben. She graduated from high school in Columbus and moved to the Marshall County area in 2005. She worked at WinStar Casino as a dispatcher for several years. Carol enjoyed sewing and arts and crafts.

Carol is survived by

Children: Shawn Pierce and wife Jessi of Madill, Oklahoma

Chase Pierce and wife Crystal of Kingston, Oklahoma

Melissa Cervantes and husband Sid of Magdalena, New Mexico.

She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Lindyn Pierce and Brantley Michael Pierce, with two more on the way, Cannon and Lacy Gage Cervantes.

Brother: Ed Santleben

Sisters: Trisha Kemper and Vickie Hahne

She was preceded in death by her father; Louis Frank Hanak, mother; Gladys and step-father Alton Santleben, Grandparents Ed "Papa Ed" and Hilda "Down" Gundelach, and her sister, Diana Lynn Skutca.

Carol’s memory will be cherished by her family and those who knew and loved her.
