Carlena Sue "Carly Bear" Cavener, 13 years old, of Marietta, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Marietta hospital. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brett Alberda officiating. A time of visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.

Carly Bear was born October 23, 2008, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

She attended the Tri-County School in Marietta and loved being outside, especially on her swing. She was often watching TV or listening to her favorite song, "The Gummy Bear Song".

Carly Bear is survived by her father, Jeff Cavener, of the home; biological parents, Tamara Hassan and husband Sherif, and Conrad Nedd, Jr. and wife Christina; grandfather, Winston Palmer, Sr.; sisters, Navia Cavener, Maria Cavener, Samara Cavener, Missy Tunnell, Liz Beavers, Sara Cavener, Ashli Cavener, and Trishelle Jones; brothers, Michael Rowton and Sean Cavener; special uncle and aunt, Isaac Palmer and wife Jessica; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Preceding Carly Bear in death are her mother, Debbie Cavener; sisters, Alison Carlena Ely, and Millie Anna Portwood; and a brother, Raymond John Randall Palmer.

Casket bearers will be Terry Vernon, Winston Palmer, Sr, Isaac Palmer, and Jonathan Higginbotham. Honorary casket bearers will be Journi Williams and the staff and students at Tri-County School.
