Obituary

Buddy Carter, 72 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Buddy was born on August 11, 1936 in Oklahoma City to the late Clinton Carter and Beda DeLina Howard Carter. He was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School in 1954. Buddy served in the United States Army National Guard 45th Infantry Division. He married Patricia Lee Forsythe on October 1, 1955 in Oklahoma City. Buddy owned and operated Texoma Meat Company and Buddy's Wholesale Tackle. He was a member of the Oklahoma Bass Master Association, Kingston All Sports Booster Club, Lake Texoma Men's Golf Association and the Marshall Chamber of Commerce. Buddy enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, camping, his bird dogs and watching his grandchildren play sports. He is survived by: Wife: Patricia L. Carter, Kingston, Oklahoma Sons: David Carter, Kingston, Oklahoma Michael Carter and wife; Janice, Kingston, Oklahoma 4 Grandchildren: Shasta Blacketer and husband Travis, Norman, Oklahoma Jordan Carter, Kingston, Oklahoma Meagan Carter, Kingston, Oklahoma Marissa Carter, Kingston, Oklahoma
