Kent was born to Donna Roxanne and James "Jim" Walker on April 25, 1967, in Lawton, Oklahoma and left this life to soon on September 21, 2022, at the age of 55. Kent graduated from Lawton High School in 1985 and spent his life song following in family traditions starting in his earlier years working in the meat markets like his dad and having a deep love and affection for music like his mom.

Entertaining, cracking jokes, and playing golf were his fuel. If you weren't laughing and smiling, you were singing and dancing with Kent around. There was never a shortage of joy and light in his presence.

Kent married Kathleen Marie Kozik, wife of 33 years on November 10, 1989. Soon after welcoming their mixed tape debut Kody Gates Walker, October 1990. Being a father to Kody and a bonus dad to Kori Morrow (Ward) were one of his greatest joys until he became "Boppa" to his three grandchildren Destin, Davon, and Gracie. A title and achievement he was proud to share.

His life song had many verses. Traveling with his band Sierra, Co- owning the Lawton Ice Company with his brother Kelly, and last but not least a light, audio, and gaming technician at the Winstar Casino just to name a few.

He was met in heaven by Donna Roxanne Walker, Mother, James "Jim" Walker, Father, and others he dearly loved.

Continuing verses include wife, Kathleen Walker, Son, Kody Walker, bonus daughter, Kori Morrow (Ward), Grandchildren, Destin, Davon, and Gracie, Brother Kelly Walker, and his wife Connie along with their son's Landon, Tanner, and Zach. Sister, Kerrie Allen Walker, Niece, Brandy Wilkerson and many other beloved family members, band mates, and friends.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Arena Cowboy Church in Lawton, OK. Cremation has been entrusted to Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.
