Bobby Lee Childers, 80, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born on May 5, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Roy Edward Childers and Audie May Smith Childers. Bob grew up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and on May 12, 1969, he married Sandra Kay McIntosh in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Bob worked most of his life as a technician in the heating and air industry and spent time as an overland truck driver. He and Sandy made their home in Tuttle and Blanchard, Oklahoma, before moving to Lake Texoma in 2012, where they enjoyed their retirement years together. Bob loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and deer hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Childers of Kingston, Oklahoma; children, Bryan Childers and wife Jennifer of Kingston, Michael Kirk and wife Dallas of Oklahoma City, Terry Lynn Hurley and husband Jimmy of Blanchard, and Angie Robinson and husband Richard of Blanchard; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy Childers of Taft, Oklahoma; and a sister, Barbara Davis of Oklahoma City.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donny Childers; a brother, Duke Childers; and two sisters, Judy Dale and Debbie Pickens.
