Joanne began this life on September 1, 1938, in Graham, OK, the daughter of Clyde and Ruth (Webb) Cox. She graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, OK as the Valedictorian of her class. On August 9, 1957, Joanne married the love of her life, Bobby L. Stinson, in Ardmore, OK. Over the years, the two resided in Healdton, OK where Joanne was a member of the Healdton Chamber of Commerce and in the Falconhead Resort community near Burneyville, OK where Joanne served as the Postmaster for the Burneyville Post Office. Joanne was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ and enjoyed going to many of the church activities. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her garden, going on trips, fishing, and caring for animals. Joanne also used every opportunity that came about to help someone in need. Though many things brought her great joy in life, perhaps the thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her grandchildren.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; by two sisters, Linda Freeman and Loveta Williams; and by one brother, Gary Cox.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bobby Stinson; son, Barry Stinson; daughters, Tammy Felts and Lori Pool; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers are Brandon Felts, Brock Rutherford, Roger Atkins, Tyler Franklin, Jason Pool, and Jamie Simmons. An honorary casket bearer is Evan Pool.
