Obituary

Beverly Jean White, 90, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away on July 14, 2022, at the Alliance Hospital in Durant, Oklahoma.  She was born on October 24, 1931, in Arkansas City, Kansas to the late Reverend Herman Everett Arnett Sr. and Hazel Irene Peebles Arnett.  Beverly Jean was raised in Eureka and Arkansas City, Kansas before moving to Cushing, Oklahoma where she graduated high school.  She married Eldon Wayne White on October 31, 1949, in Arkansas City, Kansas and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2015.  Beverly Jean lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma before moving to Kingston, Oklahoma in 1971, where she lived the remainder of her life.  Beverly Jean worked at Fran Drummond Day Care Center for several years.  She then worked for 20 years as church secretary and the pianist/organist of the First Baptist Church in Kingston, from which she retired.  She was the member of the First Baptist Church in Kingston, OK (1971-2005), Lakeview Baptist Church, Kingston, OK (2005-death), and Red Hats Society. Beverly Jean enjoyed playing the piano, cards, crocheting, doing ceramics, working puzzles, and cooking. Her greatest love was her family.

Beverly Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son; Michael Wayne White, 3 brothers; Herman (Sonny), J. D. and Leonard Arnett.
