Beverly Mozzell Carmon of Ringling, OK, was born on March 28, 1946, in Tulsa, OK to Edgar Steven and Odessa Fern (Neal) Tate. She died Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Healdton, OK at the age of seventy-seven.

Beverly lived most of her life in Marietta, OK, where she attended school. It wasn't until her last few years as her health became more challenging that she moved to Ringling.

She married Homer Carmon on December 14, 1959 in Marietta. They were a few months away from celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary.

For the first 30 years of her marriage, Beverly helped with the family business, Carmon Contracting, where she kept records, drove a water truck, and anything else needed. In the early 1990's, she owned and operated Marietta's Liquor Store. Beverly changed her career path around mid 1990's and worked as an office manager for the Family Care Home Health where her daughter worked.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Helen Fern Carmon; brothers, Johnny Tate, Robert Tate, Billy Don Tate, Kenny Tate, and Dale Tate; and a sister, Iona Skidmore.

Those left to cherish Beverly's memory are her husband, Homer Carmon of the home; daughters, Ernie Faulkner and husband Mike of Ringling, and Susan Wilkinson of Kingston, OK; sisters, Cynthia Freeman of Duncan, OK, Sue Whittington of Thackerville, OK, JoAnn Shaffer of Thackerville and Shirley Eyster of Justin, TX; sisters-in-law, Frances Tate of Haltom City, TX, and Lilly Tate of Euless, TX; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steven Morehead officiating. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 24.

Casket bearers will be Jeremy Faulkner, Eric Faulkner, Dustin Faulkner, David Wilkinson, Cody Wilkinson and Chris Scott. Honorary casket bearers will be Kirk Calhoun, Dale Pitts, Brayden Bromagen, Ashr Wilkinson and Shooter Wilkinson.
