Bernadene Freeman of Ardmore, OK, was born on June 28, 1931, in Oswalt, OK, to Hollis Herman and Delilah Jane (Tucker) Hull. She passed from this life on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her residence in Ardmore at the age of 94.

Bernadene graduated from Oswalt High School and enjoyed a life filled with learning and creativity. She loved studying genealogy, especially her Choctaw heritage. Bernadene also enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading, and traveling. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ardmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Delilah Hull, son-in-law, Jimmy Garland Sadler, and daughter-in-law, Sydney Freeman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Kerry Freeman and wife Dana of Dallas, Texas, Vicki Sadler of Ardmore, Bronwen Colbert and husband Thomas "Buddy" of Ardmore, and Lori Gill and husband Teddy of Ardmore. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Cody Colbert and wife Myka, Kerry Freeman, Jr., Garland Sadler, Cade Colbert, Kevin Bradley and wife Elyse, Laura Byrom and husband Russell, and Kurt Bradley; as well as her great-grandchildren, Colton Colbert and wife Whitney, Lincoln Bradley, Chase Bradley, and Sutton Byrom; as well as numerous cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, OK, with Pastor Brett Alberda officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Casket bearers will be her grandsons.
