Obituary

Arthur Ervin Frazier, formerly of Marietta, OK, Fort Worth, TX, and Orlando, FL, passed away on March 20, 2024, in Winter Park, FL.  Born on May 23, 1941, to Otto S. Frazier and Eunice Morgan Frazier, Ervin graduated from Marietta High School in 1959 and from Oklahoma State University in 1963 with a degree in chemical engineering.  He worked primarily in the petroleum industry.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Nancy Ellen Siller; brothers, Clyde, Clint, Erskin, Wayne, and Otto Jr.; and sisters Cora Mae Drennan and Irene Colston McKissack. He is survived by his devoted wife Lynn (Marilyn) Frazier and loving stepchildren Amy Seymour (Jeff Haney), Michael Seymour (Ashley), and grandchildren Isaac Haney and Olive Seymour.

Ervin was known for his kindness and generosity.  He was a kidney donor who was proud to be able to give the gift of life to his brother.  He loved to travel, having visited Europe, Russia, China, South America, Zambia and South Africa among other places.  He was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Seminole County, FL, and a faithful member of Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church in Oviedo, FL, where a memorial celebration of his life is scheduled for April 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Morgan Rest Cemetery near the Simon community of Love County, OK. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Marietta. Those who wish to honor Ervin's memory by donating are asked to consider donating to the National Kidney Foundation. Services have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
