Annie Mae Eldridge, of Powell, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at her home in Powell. She was born in Marshall County to the late J. J. (Dude) Rushing and Joeanner Smith Rushing on December 4, 1919. Annie was raised in the Powell, Oklahoma where she lived her entire life. She married C.F. Eldridge on December 24, 1936 in Madill, Oklahoma. They would have been married 71 years this December 24th. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2007. Annie was an excellent seamstress, cook and she loved to quilt. She was also a member of the Madill Church of Christ and an avid bible student and teacher. Annie was also a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is survived by: Daughters: Sue and husband; Henry Blakemore, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Linda and husband; Sam Crow, Hurst, Texas Tina and husband; Otis Wilson, Madill, Oklahoma Sons: Terry and wife; Rosalie Eldridge, Madill, Oklahoma Jerry and wife; Loyce Eldridge, Madill, Oklahoma Brothers: Dwain Rushing, Powell, Oklahoma Charlie Rushing, Powell, Oklahoma Bob Rushing, Powell, Oklahoma Grandsons: Chris Blakemore, Mesquite, Texas Wesley Eldridge, Madill, Oklahoma Bradley Carter, Madill, Oklahoma Granddaughters: Carmel (Blakemore) Cotter, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Tonya (Eldridge) Hector, Aurora, Colorado Freda (Eldridge) Moore, Madill, Oklahoma Paula (Eldridge) Garrison, Madill, Oklahoma Orinda (Crow) Fortenberry, Fort Worth, Texas DeAnne (Crow) Thomas, Keller, Texas Stacie (Carter) Salyer, Madill, Oklahoma 19 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchildren ; J. T. Blakemore Annie was preceded in death by parents, husband and 6 brothers; Henry, Jim, George, R. L., Jack and Billy Joe. Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2007 at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Family hour will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
