Angela Ann McKinney was born on February 11, 1963, in Ardmore, OK to Thomas Benton and Reva Janette (Long) McKinney. She passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Mercy Health Love County in Marietta, OK, at the age of 61.

Angela had lived most of her life in Marietta, spending the past few years in Ardmore living with her sisters. She was a graduate of the Marietta High School Class of 1984 and loved everything Marietta related. Angela was always a joyful and energetic person. She had worked at Sunshine Industries in Ardmore for 39 years in various distinct positions. Angela enjoyed making cards and potholders for her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Wayte and Cleta McKinney and Frank and Ella Long; a nephew, Matthew McKinney; and a brother-in-law, Randy Keeton.

Those left to carry on Angela's legacy are her brother, Kermit McKinney and wife Jeffna of Marietta; sisters, Ella Keeton and Janet Page and husband Allen, all of Ardmore; nephews, Chase McKinney and wife Seana of Marietta, Robert Page of Richardson, TX, Ryan Keeton of Ardmore, Bill Page of Bartlesville, OK, and Cody Keeton and wife Lauren of Frisco, TX; great-nephew Matthew McKinney of Marietta; great-niece, Leah Keeton of Frisco; and numerous cousins and friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Chase McKinney, Robert Page, Ryan Keeton, Bill Page, Cody Keeton, and Alex Doby.

Memorial contributions may be made in Angela's honor to Sunshine Industries, 500 Park Street SE, Ardmore, OK 73401.

SERVICE UPDATE INFORMATION:

Funeral services for Angela will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Marietta with Pastor Shane Norton officiating. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta.
