Alice Pearson Tucker, the daughter of TJ and Olevia Pearson, was born on February 14, 1942 in Pineville, Louisiana and left this earth on Saturday, January 6, 2024 after a full and enjoyable day with family. She was the "spunky" middle child/sister of her older brother Jerry and younger brother Tommy.  Alice grew up in Louisiana where she met her husband, Bert Oliver Tucker.  Together they had 4 beautiful children, Steven, Ramona, JT and Melanie.
Bert and Alice lived in several places: New Orleans, LA, Irving, TX , Atlanta, GA, Syracuse, NY, Wilson, OK but finally settled in Ardmore, Oklahoma where she lived for over 30 years.  Alice was employed with Michelin where she worked as a supervisor and came to be affectionately known as "Mother Tucker".  Once she retired from Michelin in 1997, Memaw could be found in the kitchen cooking for her grandchildren, watching Leisa shop, hosting family birthdays and holidays, teaching her granddaughter Lauren how to cook her famous dressing, spending time at Ramona and Rusty's farm, aggravating her dog Bo, and cultivating her beautiful flower garden. Nobody ever really knew what Memaw was going to do or say, but one thing is for sure: there was never a boring moment when she was around!  Alice was not only "Mother Tucker" to those she worked with or MeMaw to her family, but she welcomed all as family who passed through her home, feeding them, teasing them, and of course playing a round (or several) of Skipbo.
On January 6, 2024, Alice fell asleep and awoke in heaven surrounded by her husband Bert Tucker, her beloved daughter Ramona Heartsill, her grandson Chasen Tucker, her son-in-law Curtis Cox, her brother Jerry Pearson, her parents TJ and Olevia Pearson, and most importantly her Savior, Jesus.
She is survived by her oldest son Steven Tucker, of Ardmore, OK; her youngest son JT Tucker and wife Robyn of San Angelo, TX; and her youngest daughter Melanie Cox of Norman, OK, son-in-law Rusty Heartsill of Springer, OK; brother Tommy Pearson and wife Lynn of Woodworth, LA, and sister-in-law Sylvia Pearson of Pineville, LA.  She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren; Jennifer Tucker, Gus Heartsill and wife Jessica, Riley Arrott and husband Cal, Lauren Tucker, Paige Lasater and husband Beau, Landon Heartsill and wife Glory, Tucker Heartsill and wife Kaitlyn, Parker Tucker, Creed Cox and Dallice Heartsill.

All are welcome to celebrate the life of Alice at her memorial service on January 20, 2024 @ 3PM in the Ballroom at Lake Murray Lodge.
